Three months ago, Norte was just a sketch on paper. Today, 50 early users are already using the platform to uncover hidden benefits, plan trips with clarity, and understand what their cards and policies actually cover.
This milestone isn’t just about numbers — it’s about confirming what I believed from the start: coverage is confusing by design, and people are hungry for a way to finally see everything in one place.
What We’ve Learned About Coverage Confusion
- Most users had no idea their cards included things like medical coverage, trip protection, or rental car insurance.
- Even when they knew coverage existed, rules and exclusions made it nearly impossible to feel confident about using it.
- People don’t want another policy PDF — they want clear answers about trips, purchases, and rentals.
New Feature: The Coverage Matrix
We’ve just introduced the Coverage Matrix — a simple, shareable overview of your protection status based on the cards and policies in your Wallet.
The matrix isn’t meant to replace detailed planning. Instead, it gives you:
- A quick snapshot of how protected you are overall
- Where you might have gaps (things missing)
- Where you might have overlaps (multiple protections stacked)
Think of it as your personal “coverage scorecard” — clear at a glance, easy to share, and designed to spark those “wow, I didn’t know I had that” moments.
Unlocking Premium With Referrals
We’re also introducing a simple way for early users to unlock more power. The first 100 beta users can get 1 year of Premium free — just by inviting 3 friends. Your personal link is waiting under Profile → Plan Details.
Premium will include:
- Smarter policy analysis — upload your insurance documents and let AI highlight benefits, exclusions, and contradictions
- Full coverage view — add all your cards and policies without limits
