The Best Credit Card Benefit Tracker Apps in 2026

Nine apps track parts of your credit cards. We compared all of them, including our own, and we say where each one beats Norte so you can check our work.

Last checked: October 6, 2026

Short answer

Norte is the best credit card benefit tracker for premium cardholders in 2026. It tracks every credit, perk and earn rate on your cards, and it is the only app here that also tracks what your coverage pays and what you need to claim it: travel insurance, purchase protection, rental car. It never asks for a bank login, and it covers 200+ cards across the US, UK and Europe.

CardPointers is the pick if you want Amex, Chase, Citi, Bank of America, Wells Fargo and U.S. Bank offers added to your cards, or an Android app. MaxRewards is the pick if you want credits marked used for you and are comfortable giving it your bank login. MaxWorth covers Canada and Australia. AwardWallet tracks points balances, Travel Freely tracks welcome bonuses and annual fee dates, and Kudos picks the card at online checkout.

We make Norte. Read this page with that in mind.

Norte publishes this page and ranks itself first. Every fact about another app comes from that app's own website, pricing page or App Store listing, checked on October 6, 2026. Where another app does something Norte does not, this page says so in plain words.

1. Norte: best for credits plus coverage

Norte reads the whole wallet. Every credit with its reset date, the best card for each kind of spend, and the coverage behind each card, with the limits and the claim rules.

What it does that no other app on this list does:

  • Reads the fine print for you. Upload the benefit guide your card issuer sends cardholders and Norte reads it.
  • Adds your own policies. Pick a standalone travel insurance policy from Norte's list, or enter your own, and see everything that covers you in one place.
  • Earn rates that match your account. Tell Norte your status tier or your chosen bonus category once, and the best-card pick uses the rate you actually earn, with each card's merchant exclusions and booking rules applied. The transfer calculator is free, and live transfer bonuses are checked by hand every month.
  • Turns booking emails into plans with your coverage. Forward a flight, hotel, rental car or purchase confirmation to your personal Norte address. Norte builds the plan, shows what your cards cover on it, files the email and receipts in your Documents, and tells you what is missing before you ever need to claim.
  • Keeps the card data current by hand. When Chase refreshed its IHG cards on October 1, 2026, Norte read the new rewards agreements and updated all three cards by October 5.

No bank login, no card numbers. You add a card by its name.

Where another app beats Norte: Norte does not add retail offers to your cards (CardPointers, MaxWorth and CardStack do), does not mark credits used from your transactions (MaxRewards and CardStack do, with a bank link), has no Android app (it runs in any browser), and does not cover Canadian or Australian cards (MaxWorth does).

Price: free for up to 4 cards, with credit expiry alerts on every card. Premium is $8.99 a month or $79.99 a year on the web.

2. CardPointers: best for offers at six banks

CardPointers adds card-linked offers from Amex, Chase, Bank of America, Citi, U.S. Bank and Wells Fargo without asking for your logins, and tells you which card to use at checkout, in stores and online. It runs on iPhone, Android and browser extensions. It does not track coverage limits or claim rules. $9.99 a month or $99.99 a year.

3. MaxWorth: best outside the US

MaxWorth tracks credits and offers for US, Canadian and Australian cards, in English and Chinese, without a bank login. It lists the protections on each card by name, without limits or claim rules. $7.99 a month, $60 a year or $159.99 once.

4. CardStack: best for automatic marking without a stored password

CardStack's free plan is manual tracking. CardStack+ adds a bank connection that marks credits used from your transactions, plus Amex and Chase offers in its browser extension. iPhone only. $12.99 a month or $89.99 a year.

5. MaxRewards: best if you will link your bank

MaxRewards reads your transactions through your bank login, so credits are marked used without you doing anything. That is its strength and its trade: it needs your bank credentials. Gold is $108 a year, Platinum $240 a year.

The rest of the list

  • AwardWallet tracks points and miles balances and expiry dates across airline, hotel and bank programmes, and imports travel plans from your email or forwarded confirmations. A different job from credit tracking. $49.99 a year for Plus.
  • Travel Freely tracks welcome bonus deadlines, annual fee dates and Chase 5/24. Completely free, US cards only.
  • Kudos recommends a card at online checkout through its browser extension.
  • kardfolio is a new, minimal manual tracker for iPhone and web, no bank login.
