Norte Help & Support
Norte is the intelligence layer for the credit cards you already have — the management layer between you and your credit cards and insurance policies. Use it to track credits, claim perks, plan trips and purchases against your real coverage, prepare claims when something goes wrong, and catch every benefit before it expires. No bank linking, no card numbers — just your card list.
About Norte
- Do I need to provide my credit card numbers?
- No. Norte uses publicly available benefit guides to build its database. You select the cards you have and Norte instantly shows you what's included — no bank linking or account credentials required.
- Where does Norte get its credit card benefits data?
- Norte maintains its own database built from official card terms, benefit guides, and issuer documentation. Changes are reviewed every few weeks. If something looks off or a recent change hasn't been reflected yet, contact support and we'll review it within a few days.
- How accurate is the information?
- The database is built from publicly available sources and updated regularly. For the most detailed view, subscribers can upload a card's official benefit guide PDF and Norte will parse the fine print — extracting specific limits, exclusions, and deadlines.
- How do I add a card or insurance policy?
- For cards: search by name in the Wallet. If your card isn't in the database, request it — most new cards are added within 1–3 days. For insurance: pick from a database of annual travel policies, or store custom policy details in your wallet.
- How does billing work?
- On the web, subscriptions are handled through Stripe. On iOS, billing goes through the App Store via Apple In-App Purchase. You can manage or cancel anytime from your account settings or Apple ID settings.
Features & Tools
- How does Norte pick the best card for each category?
- The Wallet ranks your cards by category — dining, travel, groceries, and more — using the actual earn rates stored for each card. It compares structured reward multipliers (e.g., 3x on dining) across your wallet to surface the highest-earning card for every spending category, factoring in promotional rates while they're active.
- How does the Perk Tracker work?
- The Perk Tracker lets you log credits, perks, and rewards as you use them. It automatically resets on each credit's cycle — monthly, quarterly, or annually — and shows how much value you've captured in dollars.
- What is the Planner?
- The Planner is where you log upcoming trips, car rentals, big-ticket purchases, and events. Each entry becomes a record of what's covered by which card or policy — and if something goes wrong, that same entry seeds a fully prefilled claim.
- How does the Protection Explorer work?
- The Protection Explorer shows every protection across your cards and insurance in one view. Filter by rental, travel, purchase, or emergency to see exactly what's covered, where you have gaps, and any limitations. It includes 20+ real-world "what if" scenarios computed against your actual wallet.
- How does Claim Prep work?
- Open Claims, pick an event from your Planner or start a fresh claim. Norte asks what happened, picks the right coverage source from your wallet (a card benefit or insurance policy), and generates a personalized checklist with required documents, deadlines, contact info, and direct links to the provider's claims portal. Norte doesn't file the claim for you — it prepares everything so you can.
- Can I start a claim from a plan?
- Yes. Open any planned event and tap "Something went wrong?" to launch the claim wizard with dates, vendor, amounts, and the card you used already filled in.
- Can I track if my claim was approved?
- Yes. Once you've filed, mark the claim Approved (with the reimbursed amount) or Denied. Norte uses these outcomes to show how much value you've actually recovered through your wallet over time.
- What is the Norte Assistant?
- The Norte Assistant is an in-app AI you can ask anything about your wallet — which card to use for a specific purchase, whether a trip is covered, what a perk includes, or how a claim usually works. It answers using the cards and policies in your wallet plus Norte's verified benefits database.
- Can I see what my points are worth in miles? (coming soon)
- A Points → Miles value calculator is on the way. You'll be able to compare what your points are worth across transfer partners and redemption options, so you can decide whether to transfer, redeem for travel, or take cash back.
- Is Norte available on iOS?
- Yes. Search for "Norte Wallet Intelligence" on the App Store, or use Norte in any web browser.
